Nirav Panchal
Nirav is a man with a strong social conscience – he is the reason we can strive to make such a difference in the lives of these beautiful ladies. Nirav continues to oversee it all in India and help with logistics, along with his work as a tour guide, fashion designer and very active member of local heritage organisations.
Nirav provides guidance, quality control and general management skills for the Sisters to create their up-cycled pre-loved saree products, thus diverting them from landfill and reducing our environment footprint as well as empowering these ladies.
Sharon Stevens
Sharon is the team member in Australia who has worked towards providing a good source of income for the Sisters of India located in Ahmedabad.
Sharon has done charity work all her life and finds the work she is doing with SOI is wonderfully rewarding. The difference we can make to these ladies lives is humbling and rewarding. Her role is basically to sell as many products as possible to be able to provide a regular income for the Sisters.
How does she do this? By conducting Gift Wrapping Demonstrations in private homes and for organisations – thus spreading the word about Sisters of India. Dispatching products and constantly adding new products and ideas to the enterprise.
