All our products are made with love by our team of ladies in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, created from recycled sarees or recycled denim. These beautiful fabrics would normally go to landfill so by purchasing these products, you not only support the ladies, but you give them an extended life.
From recycled saree bags to furoshiki gift wraps, every product is unique and beautiful.
They are all made by the ten beautiful Sisters of India, providing them all with a regular source of good income. Our recycled saree fabrics come in an array of colours and every print is different. We are constantly receiving different colours and prints each month!
We believe in slow trade - an enterprise that provides joy and happiness along the way for the Sisters in India and their Sisters in Australia.
We do not intend for the Sisters of India to increase beyond ten, as we never want this to turn into a “sweat shop” type enterprise by employing hundreds of ladies and churning out copious products.
